1916 Easter Rising in Brief:

In 1916 a small band of armed rebels along with seven members of the Military Council — Pearse, Clarke, Plunkett, Ceantt, MacDiarmada, Connolly and MacDonagh took over the GPO in Dublin and declared Ireland a Republic. The resulting battle spread out over key locations in Dublin and lasted 7 days with many lives lost.

The T-shirts you see here commemorate the events of that fateful day on Easter Monday, April 24th, 100 years on.
