Here’s a couple of events happening around Dublin to keep you entertained this July. We hope there is something for everybody. Please add your favourite events in the comments if we missed them.
First up is the Block T Party at the Tivoli theatre in Francis Street, Dublin 8. The opening night party of this urban festival is on Friday 1st of July features Robert Hood and Marcellus Pittman.

4th OF JULY FESTIVAL 2016

For all you American’s living in or visiting Dublin on July 4th you might want to check out this festival. Of course its open to everyone who wants to celebrate the day in style.
Planned for the day is American football with the Dublin Panthers taking on the Dublin Rebels. The festival also features cheerleaders, classic cars display, an outdoor cinema playing favourites such as Despicable Me, Toy Story, Independence Day and Top Gun. You can also access a full bar and the food village will be serving a range of American themed dishes.
The event takes place in Donnybrook Stadium . Gates open at 2pm
LAYA CITY SPECTACULAR: 8th – 10th July
Admission: Free
Hailed as Ireland’s Biggest Summer Festival with over 300 events Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular is a truly spectacular event which caters for all the family. It takes place in Dublin’s Merrion Square this July from the 8th-10th. This city festival turns the heart of Georgian Dublin into a spectacular array of street theatre, music, art, exhibitions and interactive workshops. Its very much a family event not to be missed.

COMEDY FESTIVAL 2016: 28th – 31st July

The Vodafone Comedy Festival celebrates its 10th year with over 80 International and home grown acts to get your sides splitting!! This comedy festival takes place in the beautiful Iveagh Gardens on Clonmel Street, Dublin 2 and 5 fully seated indoor venues across Dublin from 28th – 31st July. Some of the big names providing the big laughs are Des Bishop, David O’Doherty, Maeve Higgins and Jason Byrne.
